  • School Board honors 2017-2018 Educators of the Year

    Twelve outstanding educators were recognized by the Plainview ISD Board of Trustees at their regular meeting on May 17. The honored educators are recipients of the 2017-2018 Educator of the Year awards for their respective campuses. The award is the highest award given to teachers by the district.

  • PHS announces 2018 student honors

    PHS senior Kristan Rincon was named 2018 class valedictorian and Lucy Hernandez was named class salutatorian at the 2018 Plainview High School Scholarship and Awards Assembly held on Monday evening. Who’s Who Awards, certificates of academic achievement, and scholarships recipients were also presented during the ceremony held in the PHS auditorium.

  • Clay R. Warren Memorial Scholarship / Red White & Blue Revue

    Plainview High School graduating senior Justin Josiah “JJ” Rodriguez, son of Ernest and Mariana Rodriguez, was recently awarded the Clay R. Warren Memorial Scholarship for 2018 by Mark and Freada Warren.

  • Plainview ISD announces 2017 - 2018 Years of Service Awards

    Plainview ISD Human Resource Services Department spent a few days recently delivering awards to employees being recognized for years of service as the 2017-2018 school year nears completion. Sixty-eight employees were honored with small gifts of appreciation for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years with the district.

  • Ash High School students celebrated at Awards Banquet

    “We are as proud as a peacock of all our students,” Ash High School principal Rodney Wallace said, explaining the peacock theme of the campus’s annual awards banquet held on Thursday evening, May 3, in the school cafeteria. The program, led by the campus student council, gave evidence of the accomplishments of students attending the alternative high school this year and highlighted the many reasons staff and parents had to be proud of the students celebrated.

  • Ten educators awarded Chamber of Commerce mini-grants

    Ten Plainview ISD educators were recognized during the April meeting of the Plainview ISD Board of Trustees as recipients of mini-grants awarded through the Plainview Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.
