SchoolMessenger is the Plainview ISD notification service for emergency broadcasts, parental outreach and student attendance communications. Messages are recorded by school personnel and transmitted over the phone, through email or text message.
SchoolMessenger uses the parent contact information currently on file in the Skyward Family Access database system so it is vital that parents keep this information updated at all times.
Updating Parent Contact Information in School Messenger
To update your contact information, click on the grades link at the top of any website page:
Use your Skyward Family Access username and password to log in. Note: If you do not have a username and password, you will need to contact your child's campus.
Once logged in, click on the Skylert link on the left hand side.
You will now be on a page that allows you to enter or edit phone numbers and email addresses. You may elect whether to have messages sent to an email account a home phone, a cell phone, or all of the above. You will also need to check the boxes indicating the types of messages you want sent to each number. Be sure to hit Save (upper right side of screen) before exiting the program.
