My name is Becky Buxton, and I have the very best job in the world! Highland is such a great place of learning and growing. I love not only being the principal here but being part of a "family" that puts children first.
Besides my "School Family," I have a husband, Bill, and two children. My daugher, Amy, and her husband, Chad, live in Lubbock. They have three wonderful children. I love being "Mia" to Ava, Hudson, and Kellen. I also have a son, Matt, in 8th grade. Having a teenager is keeping me busy!

I enjoy playing golf, reading, gardening, and drawing/painting.
I like coming to work at Highland each day because I get to see children learn new things.
We love animals at the Buxton House. We have 3 Golden Retrievers, a Yorkshire Terrier, and 2 Siamese cats. |
